March 24, 2021 Virtual Conference
This conference is designed for First Nations leaders, municipalities, private sector contractors and others who have a role to play in the development of reserves (including urban reserves).
The virtual session is meant for leaders from First Nations, municipalities, as well as the federal and provincial Manitoba governments to meet and discuss First Nations land issues. The conference is also open to private sector companies including contractors, land developers and others who have a role to play especially with the development of urban reserves.
The conference is designed to help First Nations move forward with industrial, residential and commercial development projects. Sessions will also deal with the planning and development process on reserve, additions to reserve as well as creating urban reserves.
We’ll also review the financing needs and processes for large First Nations’ infrastructure and development projects.
Urban reserves offer massive potential for economic development to First Nations and municipalities. They bring new investment dollars to towns and cities and they also offer economic advantages to First Nations as well as new employment opportunities.
