Manitoba USKE is now accepting nominations for our board of directors.
All board positions, including Chair of the Board, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer are up for election. Candidates must be certified land managers who have been actively attending Manitoba USKE association meetings and events for the last two years.
As a board member, you’ll provide leadership, guidance and administrative support for Manitoba USKE’s projects. Along with the Manitoba USKE elders, the board of directors offers counsel for the direction and strategy of the organization, which directly impacts the future of Manitoba USKE and its 38 member nations. Board members are expected to serve a minimum term of two years.
Two nominations are required for each position. Voting will take place on July 15-17 during the annual USKE-AGA member meeting. Depending on current health restrictions at the time, the vote may be in-person or virtual. Results will be announced promptly after a ballot count.
The election notice and nomination form are available for download below. Nominations are due July 2 and once completed, nomination forms can be sent to email@example.com.
Our annual report can also be accessed below. It details the projects, events and meetings from the last fiscal year, and a list of our current member nations. The report will be discussed at the July meeting.
